Prof. Dr. Nuno Garrido teaches regularly at the Facultad de Odontología of the Universidad de Sevilla, where he has collaborated as a lecturer since 2008.

Conference at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana

Prof. Dr. Nuno Garrido participated as a guest speaker at the Facultad de Estomatologia “Raúl González Sánchez” of the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana, during the Annual Congress of Medical and Dental Sciences of Havana.


In his speech, he shared clinical and academic experiences in the area of Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation, reinforcing the importance of international scientific cooperation and continuous updating in modern dental practice.

XXXV Congreso Nacional y XXVIII Internacional de la Sociedad Española de Implantes

Prof. Dr. Nuno Garrido participated in the XXXV Congreso Nacional y XXVIII Internacional de la Sociedad Española de Implantes, held in Toledo.

As a member of the Scientific Committee, he played the role of moderator in the Friday afternoon session, contributing to the scientific rigor and dynamism of the congress.

Together with the academic group of the Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Sevilla, he presented 12 scientific communications in poster and oral communication format, reinforcing the commitment to research, clinical innovation and advanced training in Implantology.

BQDC Symposium

Dr. Nuno Garrido attended the BQDC Annual Meeting and the 1st BQDC Scientific Symposium, held in Porto, a gathering that brought together some of the most renowned clinics and professionals in the Iberian Peninsula.

During two intensive days, essential topics in modern dentistry were discussed—from intraoral scanners and new digital workflows to advanced oral rehabilitation, guided surgery, implant complication management, adhesion, cementation, and updated clinical-laboratory protocols.

The event also included strategic reflections on the future of dentistry and the role of independent clinics in defending quality and scientific rigor.

Clinical Staff Updates GBT Protocol

The Orallagos clinical team recently completed a comprehensive update of the GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) protocol, reinforcing our commitment to preventive, modern dentistry based on the best scientific evidence. This in-depth review allowed us to align procedures, incorporate technical improvements, and optimize each stage of treatment to ensure greater comfort, effectiveness, and predictability for our patients.

OMD2025 Congress

The Orallagos medical team attended the Annual Congress of the Portuguese Medical Association, one of the most important scientific events in the country.
